Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions people ask most about Abloom Pdfly.
Are the tools really free?
Yes. All tools are free, with no sign-up and no watermarks on your output.
Do my files leave my device?
No. Every tool runs in your browser on your own device. Files are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers. Closing the page removes them from memory.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no artificial limit, but tools run in your browser, so the practical limit is your device's memory. On a desktop, files around 100 MB usually work fine; on a phone, 20–50 MB is safer. Very large scanned PDFs are best split into smaller parts first.
Why does a converted document look different from the original?
Text-based conversions carry the text, not the original layout, pictures or tables. Each tool page says plainly what it preserves and what it does not, so there are no surprises.
Which languages are supported?
The homepage works in 10 languages. Tools that create or edit documents support Bengali, Hindi, Arabic and other scripts, and produce output in the proper language. If a conversion from an old PDF shows broken Bengali, the source file probably uses an old non-Unicode font; re-export it with a Unicode font such as Noto Sans Bengali first.
Do the tools work offline?
Once a tool page has loaded, the work itself happens on your device, so a connection is not needed while converting. You do need a connection to open the page in the first place.
Is a drawn signature on a PDF a certified digital signature?
No. The Sign tool adds a picture of your signature to the PDF. It is not a certified or cryptographic digital signature.
Something is not working. What should I do?
Try a smaller file, or another browser, and tell us the tool name and what happened at admin@abloomsol.com.
